John C Haley "Papa", fisherman, born March 1st, 1956, passed away on August 22nd, 2020 in Gainesville, FL at the age of 64. He loved being outdoors and spending time with family. John has joined his father John C Haley and sister Janie Haley at Heavens fishin' hole. Survived by the "catch of his life" Sherry Haley, mother Mary Palmer, sisters Mary Ellen Barnes, and Jackie O'Daniel. Children Steven Haley, "Little" John Haley, Elijah Haley, Sonny and Karen Holmes , Steve and Hazel Holmes, Tanya and Derek Lapp, Dawn Marie Van Price, Maria Baker, Joshua Whitney and grandchildren. He was a loving father, dedicated husband and will be missed by many. ... Till we're together you and me, To all of those that think of me, Be happy as I go out to sea.
