He was a legendary All-Star athlete both in Baseball and Football while in high school, he also ran track. Charming and "not hard on the eyes" were just a few of his unforgettable characteristics. Jerry was proud to say he was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and he was proud of his sobriety of 10 ¾ years on the day of his passing. He loved to garden; many people didn't know that. Going to movies, watching baseball, football, camping and hunting in his younger years then traveling and cruising with his wife, as he matured were just a few of the hobbies he loved to do.
