Montreail Dungy, 46, of Fort Dodge unexpectedly passed December 25, 2022.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2022 at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Montreail is survived by his daughter Monteka Dungy of Ames, Ashtyn Clayton of Fort Dodge and his granddaughter Nylah Dungy. He is also survived by his mother Vera Altman, father Barry Dungy of San Antonio, siblings Onterrail Altman, Ramonte Altman, Demontray Dungy, Demarlus Brown, Karissa Dungy, Barry Dungy, and Cletio Clark, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mary Naylor and Lasalle Altman, Unibell and Chester Lofton, and OB Dungy.
Montreail Dean Dungy was born July 26, 1976 in Riverside, California. At the time of his passing he was student at Iowa Central receiving his Electrical Engineering AA and would have graduated in May. Montreail loved the Lord. His faith lead him to be a mentor to others, especially in his work as a prison mentor.
