Melanie Rogers

Melanie D. Rogers, of Antigo, died on February 3, 2025 at her home. She was 46 years old. She was born on October 20, 1978 in Baton Rouge, LA, a daughter of Steven (Lori) Rogers of Gonzales, LA and Sharon (David) Bratu of Clintonville. She was a 1997 graduate of East Ascension High in Gonzales, LA. Melanie was a member of Peace Lutheran Church where she was active in many ministries. She loved art and music, especially Match Box 20. Survivors include her parents; a brother, Tony (Courtney) Rogers of Gonzales, LA; nieces, Ayana and Baylee Rogers; fiancé, Howard Jansen; and many cousins. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7, at 6 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church with Reverend Jarod Fenske officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church. A memorial service will be held at a later date at New River Baptist Church in St. Amant, LA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Peace Lutheran Ministries.
